Be the Change You Want to See

For a long time, I had been semi-conscious of the effects that human behaviour was having on the planet. Looking back, I guess I was too lazy to do any proper research and too comfortable to do anything about it. But at the start of 2019, I watched a few documentaries (Climate Change: The FactsA Plastic Ocean, The True Cost) that opened my eyes to how bad the problem was, and decided I needed to take action and change my lifestyle.

It’s easy to sit back and ignore global issues such as climate change and pollution; after all, these problems seem so much bigger than us. But if everyone pitched in and started making small changes to their lifestyles just imagine the difference we could make. It is time to start taking responsibility for our actions, take a look at your habits and learn what you can do to become more sustainable and kinder to the earth.

In the next few blog posts, I will highlight the key changes I have made, why I made them, and maybe you’ll get a few ideas of simple steps you can take too.

Worst case scenario? We help the world become a better place.
